Meticulous Designs

Wassup bloggers!

My homie Matthew Pompey is probably the SICKEST graphic designer this side of the Nile river. He showed me some of his stuff (not that "stuff" get your head out of the gutter...pervs) and I was blown away. I really respect people with such a creative imagination that actually put it to good use and he is definetely a prime example. For the right price, this dude can change your everyday blog into a party for your eyes. Saw some of these things he did from scratch and i literally said "Holy Santa Clause shxt" ....

Pffft Women

Pfft you say one thing but mean the other,
you stress me out, confuse a brother.

Pfft you rise in anger at petty things,
actin like facebook is my everything.

Pfft you cheat and lie just the same,
then act like we invented the game.

Pfft you call us dogs, but yet you itch,
well maybe I should call you bitch?

Pfft there are some good ones thats no doubt,
some girls that do not, scream and shout.
I know some of you might be mad and hate,
but thats jut because my words relate.
If you think I sneeze on these facebook groupies,
I could care less about these dumbass floozies.
You may think I sound like Dr. Seuss, lol
but I just put my rhyming to good use.
I hope you think my poems sweet :)

The Deepest I Could Get

I can picture a beautiful woman...

Long flowing hair, like the rivers of the Nile

Sensuous but cute, with a soul warming smile...

Deep soft eyes, the type you get lost in

Soothing calm voice, real soft spoken....

Skin like buttermilk, kissed by the Sun

Breasts real sweet, ass weighs a ton...

In our battle of the wits, she doesn't come outnumbered

Her intellect is vast, and her wisdom? Makes you wonder...

She's a blessing to my atmosphere, a curse to my soul

A gift to my life, and a filling to this hole....

but hey, thats the deepest I could get. ;)

Here's a lil vid me Shannon and her cousin threw together for the Muchmusic Competition:

Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

As a lot of you may know, Will Smith is my icon. To me he is the perfect example of what hardwork and determination can accomplish. Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air is arguably the best television show of ALL TIME. Will had NO EXPERIENCE before the show...none. He studied the role tirelessly and auditioned until he got the role. I know it may not come on tv enough, but truuuue die hards know about this CRACK I'm about to unleash on yall....

DREAM DESIGNS

You guys may have noticed me wearing these kinda shirts throughout the week on MOD. Dream Designs can put basically ANYTHING you want on any type of clothing. Its actually amazing what they've been able to accomplish in such a short amount of team. If you want to place an order hit up www.ddto.ca and even if you wanna join the street team, I know they're probably looking for new people to join the movement. GET WIT IT ! Toronto don't sleep...

Exposure...

Well since the VJ search ended, I've been getting a lot of offers for different "host" like job oppurtunities. Fashion shows, talent shows....other shows lol. I am really grateful. Contrary to popular belief I've had a pretty rough life but I've always had the dream of being on television. You could ask teachers from like grade three and they'll tell you that I would always say

"I'm gonna be famous one day"

I still want to be a Muchmusic VJ, regardless of what happened in the competition. Working there for the week helped me see the incredible amount of work that goes into Much On Demand and other popular shows and the people I got to work with were amazing, funny and free-spirited people. It's the type of work environment I most definetely want to work in. I will be at the open casting call on Friday at Ryerson so imma keep you guys posted on that situation.

I know it sounds cliche by now, but I want 2010 to be a big year. I'm working on many things and I want everyone to know and understand that this is my PASSION. I have never worked harder for anything in my life and I hope the product of my tireless efforts reflect that.

Got two meetings today, I'm gonna be hosting "Give Peace A Dance" which is a talent show between many different highschools. It's a really big event so it should be a lot of fun. They're also talking about trying to bring on Matt Babel to host with me so it should be pretty sick. I'm also hosting the "Sounds Of Fashion" show in February, which is being put on by the good people at the Remix Project so yall wish me luck.

Can't stop won't stop POW!

Jamaica Land I love <3

For those who don't know, Movado and Vybez Kartel are Jamaican reggae artists that have been beefing for over a year now. It has resulted in their hometowns fighting and killing each other over music. Now they have finally SQUASHED the beef and Jamaica is feeling the love. This gave me goosebumps yall...

Young Money ft. Lloyd - Bedrock

You know it's gonna be #1 right?

The Future

A lot of people have been messaging me asking if I'm gonna continue to pursue a career in television, "Are you gonna be in broadcasting still?", "You need to be on TV!!!". Well the answer is YES. I don't plan on giving up anytime soon. After my experience with Muchmusic, it was just further indication that being on TV is what I love and what I'm good at. I've been recieving amazing messages and tweets with people supporting me and letting me know how they felt about Muchmusic's decision. At the end of the day, Much chose who they felt they needed at this point in time and unfortunately it wasn't me.

Now I'm faced with multiple options for me to
invade your tv screens and I'm gonna be making my choice very soon. This mos def ain't the end for me, so look out for some projects I have in mind and I'll be sure to keep you guys posted on my day to day progress. Don't mind my random blog posts, imma post whatever i'm feelin, ya dig?!

Why Women...why?

I've been noticing an ongoing trend with girls these days where they constantly try to justify why they aren't "catties". Back in the days it was a simple question of "What kind of girl do you think I am ?" when a dude said summin innapropriate to tick them off, now theres a label for that type of girl. Cattie. I see this obsession ironically enough, in the girls that actually aren't catties.

Funny? I know...

Decent girls these days seem so consumed by the thought of actually being labelled a cattie, that they will constantly repeat it at any given time. For example, the other day I asked a girl if she was going to a party, 19+, semi formal dress code...

"What do i look like? A cattie? You ever see the girls that go to those kinds of parties?"

Um...yes, yes i have. They are usually working students, mature , responsible people that for the most part, aren't too bad on the eyes. I was so confused on how she could say the party was a "Cattie Jam"....wat are the qualifications? *Sigh* Hurts my brain just to think about it ...

In my opinion girls should just focus on the shit thats important in life. Like the money, money and the cars, the cars and the clothes, the hoes i suppose....

Beat is Crack...

If you haven't taken in the movie "Fade To Black" your slippin. The documentary on the making Jay-Z's Black Album, this is my fave clip. Timbaland showin his creative genius. Jigga only took one beat out of all the ones he heard but if you listen closely you can hear beats that showed up on other tracks by different artists.

Say Something Behind the Scenes

This video looks bananas.

Rihanna who?

Chris Brown basically proving track by track on this album that he can't ...be.....stopped.

WASSUP!

Welcome to the wonderful world of , go play the earl coz, everything I throw up? BLOW UP.
Cause this is that get crunk move trick, get drunk stupid, hot like steaks, .45 on waist.

Decided to join the blog world, I'm one of the most bored people you will ever find. I've resorted to facebook games like "Cafe World" for God's sake...twitter is the only thing that's poppin right now and you can't stay on that shit for hours on end.

I just finished my journey to becoming Muchmusic's next VJ, I was top 3 out of over 4,000 applicants and the top guy in the entire competition. In the end I was eliminated but not before I created a fan base of over 5,000 people. I worked hard to get to the top 3 but I couldn.t have done it without the support of friends, family and ofcourse my fans. Now I gotta make a choice; do I go back to a regular job (debt collection ugh!) or do I continue to create a fan base and try to get my dreaam job as a TV SUPERSTAR! Decisions decisions...
